Stacie joined AMRI in August 2018.  Prior to AMRI, Stacie held a number of legal and commercial roles of increasing responsibility at Baxter International over a nine-year period; ultimately as the Vice President, Associate General Counsel, Global Businesses/Global Science & Technology.  In that role, she led a team of attorneys and paralegals responsible for global pharmaceutical and medical device businesses with revenue of over $8.5 billion; handling legal matters in commercial, contract manufacturing, procurement, research and development, medical affairs, patient safety, and clinical operations.  Prior to Baxter, Stacie was in private practice at McDermott, Will & Emery representing and advising pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, hospitals and health systems in healthcare business transactions, and regulatory and compliance matters.  In addition, Stacie has over a decade of experience making significant contributions in sales, marketing, finance and commercial operations roles in a variety of products and services industries.

Stacie has been selected for a number of leadership programs, including Deloitte’s Chief Legal Officer Academy, and Fortune Most Powerful Women Next Gen Summit.  She has held many leadership positions within and outside of her employers, and she mentors numerous men and women within and outside of the legal profession.  She was Chair of Baxter’s Global Inclusion Council Initiative, Advancing Women in Leadership; and a Co-Founder and Co-Chairwoman of Baxter Women Leaders, a Business Resource Group, which received the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association ACE Award during her co-chairwomanship.  Stacie served on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys for several years, ultimately serving as its president; and recently was asked to be a mentor for WOMN LLC, a company dedicated to helping women succeed in the business of law by increasing their knowledge of and acuity with financial drivers, client development, and leadership.

Stacie graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science, cum laude, and from DePaul University College of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree, magna cum laude, and a certificate in health law.
